Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and energetic Maintenance Officer to provide day-to-day maintenance support across our offices. Assisting with routine repairs, identifying maintenance issues, and helping keep the workplace safe and organized. The role requires close collaboration with the Office Manager, HR department, cleaning team, and the Health & Safety Officer to support a positive, functional and safe workplace experience for all employees.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect and troubleshoot maintenance issues reported by staff.

• Fix broken or faulty items such as door locks, leaking taps, windows, toilet facilities, electric appliances (e.g., fridges, microwaves), furniture (e.g., chairs, tables), and blinds, as well as other office equipment.

• Perform general maintenance work, including replacing light bulbs and basic painting or similar repair tasks.

• Conduct routine building inspections, and liaise with external specialists and contractors

• Furniture assembling or repositioning to accommodate company needs, office layout changes, or team expansions or relocation.

• Maintain tools and equipment required to perform the role effectively.

• Follow a maintenance schedule to ensure all routine tasks are completed.

• Check safety equipment (fire alarms, extinguishers, CO detectors) and inspect building systems such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, in line with regulations and alongside the Company’s H&S Officer.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and other ad-hoc tasks that may occur, aimed at optimising the use, safety, and appearance of office facilities.

What we are looking for:

• Some experience in a maintenance role

• Verbal and written communication skills in Greek Language

• Good communication in English language

• Knowledge of general repairs and building systems

• Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete minor repairs

• Physical ability to lift heavy loads

• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and specifications

• Teamwork skills and problem solving skills
