Job Description
We are expanding our Data & Analytics function and building a modern, scalable Data Warehouse to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making.
As a Data Engineer you will be supporting the design, development, and maintenance of reliable data pipelines and warehouse models. This role is suited for an engineer with strong fundamentals who is comfortable working across systems and contributing to a structured data environment.
Responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain batch and incremental ETL/ELT pipelines
Build ingestion processes from APIs and relational databases
Implement transformation logic within the Data Warehouse
Contribute to data quality validation, monitoring, and auditability
Assist with containerized and automated workflows (Docker-based environments)
Collaborate with source system teams and business stakeholders to clarify data structures and requirements
Support schema evolution and controlled deployments
Document pipeline logic and technical decisions
What we are looking for:
3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or backend development
Strong SQL proficiency
Solid working knowledge of Python
Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and incremental loading principles
Experience working with relational databases and APIs
Familiarity with Git and version control
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong engineering fundamentals
Structured and detail-oriented approach
Comfortable learning new technologies
Effective communicator when working with technical and business stakeholders
Able to navigate technical systems holistically, even if not previously exposed to every tool in the stack.
Nice to have
Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake)
Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow)
Familiarity with Docker or containerized environments
Understanding of data modeling concepts
Awareness of secure data handling and access control principles
