Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Systems Administrator to manage, support and improve our enterprise infrastructure and network environment.

The role involves working with modern enterprise systems including servers, cloud and virtualisation platforms, network and security infrastructure, identity and access management systems, monitoring systems, automation systems, backup solutions and end-user systems. You will help ensure that our systems are secure, reliable, well-documented, and able to support the needs of the business.

This is a hands-on senior technical role suited to someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure issues, improving systems, and working closely with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage, maintain, and improve core infrastructure services, including servers, virtualization, cloud services, networks, backups, monitoring tools, and end-user platforms.

• Lead or contribute to infrastructure modernization, business continuity and other initiatives from planning through deployment.

• Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and security, taking proactive action where needed.

• Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, upgrades, configuration changes, and lifecycle activities in line with operational and security requirements.

• Oversee identity and access management processes, including user provisioning, permissions management, access reviews, and governance across internal and third-party platforms

• Provide advanced technical support, escalation, root-cause analysis and corrective actions for complex infrastructure, server, network, and connectivity issues.

• Work with internal teams, vendors, and IT staff to ensure smooth IT operations.

• Support audits, compliance activities, evidence collection, and infrastructure control improvements.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, architecture diagrams, and IT asset records.

• Promote best practices, contribute to infrastructure standards and roadmaps and mentor junior IT staff.

What we are looking for:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Systems Administration or infrastructure-focused roles.

• Strong expertise with Windows/Linux server environments, cloud and virtualization, security infrastructure, monitoring, backup solutions and end-user systems.

• Practical experience with Fortinet firewalls and HP/Aruba switches.

• Familiarity with scripting and infrastructure as code tools such as PowerShell, Shell scripting, or Terraform.

• Sharp analytical thinking, excellent English communication skills (both written and oral), and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
